Our Story CELT International Teacher Development Centre, also known as CELT Athens, was founded in 1989 by a teacher with teacher development as its prime objective. For over 35 years, the centre has pursued excellence in teaching and teacher education across the private and public sectors, building an international reputation for quality instruction and tutorial support. Since 1993, CELT has been an approved centre for Cambridge Certificates and Diplomas, training more than 2,500 foreign language teachers, directors of studies, and administrators from Greece and around the world. All courses offer online attendance options, with recordings provided for missed sessions. Teaching Practice for the CELTA and Delta can be conducted entirely via Zoom or through blended arrangements.
