About
Our Story
Code/Art is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing the number of girls studying computer science by delighting and inspiring them with the creative possibilities of technology. Led by Lisa Hauser, CEO, the organization operates on the conviction that when students create something personally meaningful, they begin to see themselves as creators, innovators, and leaders. Its vision is a world where all girls have a positive early introduction to computer science through art, ultimately leading to greater representation of women in technology and the arts. The organization’s culture is defined by four core values: Innovation, Community, Inclusivity, and Social Good.
