Methods & Approach
Akademiet employs a practically oriented, exam-aligned pedagogy where theoretical instruction is tightly coupled to official learning objectives and assessment formats. In the digital and online tracks, learning is modular and self-directed, exemplified by the teacher programming course where participants install software on their own PCs, code hands-on, submit programs to a subject teacher, and receive personalized comments and guidance. The Full Flex methodology removes fixed cohort pacing in favor of individual progress rhythms. For exchanges, the approach is highly counseling-intensive: each student receives direct dialogue with their Norwegian school advisor, pre-departure timetable validation, and ongoing access to in-country program managers.
