About
Our Story
Mind the Body is a Dutch leadership and team development agency founded by Gerben Roosink, who brings ten years of psychology expertise together with four years of service in the Dutch Marine Corps (Korps Mariniers). Based in Soest, Netherlands, the organization has trained more than 350 teams with a core mission to create teams that take ownership and collaborate effectively under pressure. They focus on sustainable behavioral change rather than one-off inspiration, believing that leadership behavior must be trained, not just discussed. Their approach maintains a 4.9-star rating from over 109 Google reviews. The company operates under Dutch Chamber of Commerce registration KVK 97688053 and VAT ID NL868183453B01.

Methods & Approach
Mind the Body follows a rigorous five-phase methodology: Goals, Intel, Plan, Execute, Reflect. Every intervention begins with online assessments, management interviews, and individual learning goals to map the specific situation. They apply psychological frameworks including basic psychological needs and Lencioni's pyramid, combined with physical and mental exercises drawn from the Korps Mariniers. Training is conducted under stressful conditions to reveal authentic team patterns, followed by structured reflection to translate insights into daily workplace behavior. Their signature "3 Circles" model emphasizes connection with oneself, connection with each other, and connection with the organizational mission.
Who It's For
Team leaders, managers, entrepreneurs, and HR professionals who want their teams to take more ownership and perform under pressure. Individual leaders seeking to improve their stress response, vitality, and personal leadership impact. Teams struggling with silos, backbiting, lack of mutual accountability, or responsibility that constantly flows back to the manager. Organizations aiming to unify leadership development, team performance, and culture into a single growth strategy. Both seasoned and newer leaders participate, and the programs are also valuable for non-managers seeking deep self-insight and behavioral development.
