Our Story The British College of Andorra (BCA) is an International Baccalaureate World School located in the Principality of Andorra. Situated in a green, spacious campus in the hills and forests above Andorra la Vella, the school is just ten minutes from the city centre and borders the UNESCO World Heritage landscape of the Madriu-Perafita-Claror Valley. BCA delivers high-quality learning within a framework of British and international education, nurturing English immersion, personal growth, and wellbeing. Programs & Trainings Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), Foundation learning for the youngest pupils within a nurturing, English-immersion environment. BCA Summer Camp (Ages 3-16), Four-week English-immersion summer experience running each July; the 2026 edition starts the week of July 6th. Each week is built around a different country theme shaping projects, workshops, and cultural activities. Families may enrol for one or multiple weeks. Mini Summer Camp, Koalas (Born 2021-2023), Gentle introduction to English through play, movement, guided discovery, storytelling, songs, sensory activities, creative workshops, outdoor play, water fun, and adapted excursions. Small sub-groups with an adult-to-child ratio of approximately 1:7, supported by two qualified teachers and two teaching assistants. BCA Summer Camp, Chimps (Born 2018-2020), For ages 6-8, combining structured English development with creative workshops, science experiments, cooking sessions, design challenges, art projects, and problem-solving tasks. Students work in smaller English-level sub-groups. Activities include sports, team challenges, water games, weekly adventure excursions, and Friday outdoor adventure blocks with Geocaching and picnic time. BCA Summer Camp, Leopards (Born 2015-2017), For ages 9-11, offering the same core structure as Chimps with deeper collaborative challenges, project-based learning, storytelling, guided reading, and weekly excursions. BCA Teens Summer Experience, Lions (Born 2010-2014), For ages 12-16, emphasising independence and real-world English use through podcasts, debates, short films, presentations, collaborative tasks, STEM challenges, design projects, photography, cooking, team sports, movement challenges, geocaching, and engineering challenges. Weekly Adventure Excursions, MontMagic outdoor alpine activities and guided team challenges in the mountains, and 360°eXtrem indoor freestyle sessions with trampolines, balance activities, and movement-based circuits. Summer Camp Recognition Systems, Daily Behaviour Passports for Chimps and Leopards rewarding helping others, listening and focus, respecting materials, speaking English, effort, and participation. End-of-Week Certificates celebrate strengths such as Most Improved in English, Biggest Effort, Sports Star, Listening Star, Best Artistic Skills, and English Speaker of the Week. Summer camp activities run from 9:00 to 16:45, with drop-off from 8:45 and pick-up until 17:00; part-time morning and half-day options are available. An optional bus service operates from two points in Andorra la Vella and Escaldes-Engordany at an additional weekly fee. On-site school canteen provides freshly prepared, balanced lunches and a healthy morning snack, accommodating most allergies and dietary requirements with prior notice.
