GW Training Center

The GW Training Center is a comprehensive training facility offering over 500 classes per year to more than 5,000 students. Their educational programs cater to a wide range of healthcare professionals including doctors, nurses of all levels, physician assistants, pre-hospital care personnel, allied health personnel, and non-healthcare providers. The center is distinguished by its experienced critical care clinicians as instructors, cutting-edge research integration, practice implementation, and advanced patient simulation equipment. The training center is part of the GW Medical Faculty Associates and operates under the School of Medicine and Health Sciences. They provide specialized training categories including Healthcare Provider Training, CPR and First Aid for the Community, EMT Programs, Workplace Training, AED Solutions, and PetTech Courses. The center serves as an authorized training center for the American Heart Association and maintains affiliations with several professional medical organizations.
