Our Story The Hippocampus Academy was founded by Dr. Nancy Tsai and launched in spring 2024 as a vision for what applied academics could become. It has since grown into a small team of mind and brain enthusiasts operating as a fundamentally student-led organization. Focused on psychology, cognitive science, and neuroscience, the Academy aims to bridge critical gaps in translating classroom knowledge beyond the classroom and in supporting students' transition out of academia.
