Welcome to the International Institute of Metro Detroit, a beacon of service in our community for over a century. Our mission is to transform the lives of low-income immigrants, refugees, and U.S.-born residents by offering innovative solutions that advance economic mobility. We are proud of our latest project, the Warrendale Community Integration Project (WCIP), which was initiated in 2018 with our partner, the Islamic Center of Detroit. This inclusive community development project is part of The Kresge Foundation’s KIP: D initiative, and we are deeply grateful for this partnership. Our teaching methods are diverse and dynamic, reflecting the rich tapestry of cultures and languages that make up our community. We believe in a holistic approach to learning, where every student is seen as unique and deserving of individual attention and support. Our unique strength lies in our long-standing commitment to uninterrupted service and our ability to adapt to the evolving needs of our students and community.
